Our Story

In 2018, we had a vision – to create a business that treats people fairly and to be a place where people can come and make an honest living. That’s why we created J. Post Haulage Ltd. In 2023 RJ Post Enterprises was added, we wanted to abroad our horizons and haul US and Canada Wide. We have two trucks under RJ’s and the rest under J. Post Haulage Ltd. Giving us the ability to haul anywhere in Canada for more flexibility for our customers.

Our Goal

We wanted to build a place where people love to be and that we love to be. Over the years, we have worked hard to make a living, keeping our heads down and focusing solely on the business.

Prior to starting our trucking adventure, Jim worked as an automotive and heavy-duty mechanic for about 18 years. Having a mechanical background was an asset to this new adventure. Jim also wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were also truckers.

In only a few years, the family business has grown substantially, offering services like hauling sawdust and drill cuttings for drilling rigs and environmental companies.

Every day is a challenge; it may be a new job, a new location or just adding a new person or truck to the fleet. No matter the challenge, we are up for it.

“Wow, we really did this . . . from absolutely nothing,” is a phrase we still say from time to time.

“Chase your dreams, not the money.” It’s a philosophy that has served us well as we continue to build a company based on trust, family values, and a love for the open road.
